About Us
At Pathways to the Future, our story began with purpose, faith, and an unwavering commitment to helping others heal.
We are two women who were given an opportunity to serve individuals in recovery under the leadership of another organization. When that organization walked away and abandoned both the program and the people depending on it, we made a decision: we would not allow those individuals to be left without support, stability, or hope.
What began as stepping up in a moment of crisis became the foundation of our purpose.
God brought us together through years of working in the detox and substance abuse recovery community, where we discovered a shared vision and passion for helping individuals rebuild their lives. Through that journey, we recognized that our calling was greater than working for others It was to build something of our own ,something rooted in compassion, accountability, structure, and genuine care.
With over 10 years of nursing experience and more than a decade serving in the substance abuse field, our founder brings strong clinical knowledge, leadership, and hands-on experience in supporting vulnerable populations through recovery and transition.
Alongside her is a highly respected case manager, recovery coach, and leader in the recovery community, bringing over 20 years of personal recovery and extensive experience guiding individuals through the healing process. Her lived experience, professional leadership, and dedication make her a powerful example that long-term recovery, transformation, and restoration are possible.
Together, we created Pathways to the Future with one mission: to provide safe, structured, and supportive housing for individuals transitioning from detox, rehabilitation, and treatment programs into stable and independent living.
For us, this is more than a business. This is more than a job.
This is our purpose.
No paycheck could ever equal the fulfillment of watching someone reclaim their life, rebuild family relationships, restore dignity, and maintain sobriety. We do this because we love what we do. We do this because we believe in second chances. We do this because God placed this calling on our hearts.
At Pathways to the Future, we lead with faith, compassion, integrity, and commitment because recovery is possible, and no one should have to walk that journey alone.
Mission & Vision
Our Mission
Our Vision
A foundation built for lasting recovery.
Structure & Accountability
Recovery works best with consistency. At Pathways to the Future, we provide a structured living environment designed to help residents stay focused, grounded, and committed to their recovery journey. Through daily accountability, house expectations, and supportive guidance, we create the stability needed to build healthy habits and long-term success.
Personalized Support & Case Management
Recovery is not one-size-fits-all. Every resident receives individualized support to help navigate the next steps in life. From connecting with outside providers and community resources to setting personal goals and creating realistic plans for success, we walk alongside each resident every step of the way.
Community & Connection
Healing happens in community. One of the most powerful parts of recovery is knowing you are not alone. At Pathways to the Future, we foster a strong sober community where residents build meaningful connections, support one another, and create lifelong bonds with others who understand the journey.
Family Support & Rebuilding Relationships
Recovery Partnership & Outside Provider Collaboration We understand that recovery often involves multiple layers of support. That’s why we work closely with therapists, outpatient programs, counselors, probation officers, and other providers to help ensure residents stay connected to the resources that support their recovery goals.
Flexibility for Real Life
Recovery doesn’t stop life it helps rebuild it. Whether residents are returning to work, going back to school, attending treatment, or focusing on personal healing, our program is designed to support their real-life responsibilities while maintaining recovery as the priority.
Additional Support Services
Recovery Coaching
For residents who need extra guidance, we offer recovery coaching to provide additional motivation, mentorship, accountability, and support throughout the recovery journey.
Sober Companion Support
For those requiring more personalized attention, one-on-one sober support services are available to help residents stay focused, accountable, and safe during challenging transitions.
Transition Planning
Recovery is about preparing for what comes next. We help residents build practical plans for life after sober living, including housing, employment, education, and long-term recovery planning.
Advocacy Support
Life challenges don’t pause during recovery. We provide support and advocacy for court matters, legal obligations, custody issues, and other life situations that may impact recovery and stability.
Privacy & Confidentiality
We understand that recovery is deeply personal. Protecting our residents’ privacy is a priority. All personal information and participation in our program remain confidential and are only shared when legally authorized or clinically necessary.
Intervention Support
We understand that asking for help is often the hardest part of the recovery journey. Many families struggle with knowing what to say, what to do, or where to begin when a loved one is battling addiction. At Pathways to the Future, we help guide that process with compassion, honesty, and understanding. We work alongside families to create a plan, open the door to difficult conversations, and help connect their loved one to the support they need. Recovery starts with one decision—and sometimes all it takes is someone willing to help make that first step possible.
